Good morning to all,
I apologize for my bad English. He helped me with the google translator.

I've been reading some threads and I'm not sure if my problem is something very particular or if it could be treated in any of the threads already open.

I explain my case:
I have been using CT for a few versions and the installation has always been simple for me. I am currently using 5.90 and considering that I am already somewhat outdated I have tried to update to 6.30 and I have a small problem.

The file install.bat tells me that I do not have privileges. What I already find strange since:
1. I have a unique profile on my team and is an Administrator
2. I execute the bat as administrator

I thought it was a virus problem, malware or something like that but my Antivirus and my Antimalware has not detected anything.

Then I made a test script, based on the same lines of the original script that does the verification and the result that throws me is that I do indeed have the privileges.
Based on my tests I detect that the problem comes from the lines

% ~ dp
CD% ~ dp0

because if I emulate the behavior of the script with those lines I get the warning that I do not have privileges.

I was wondering if it is possibly a problem of some OS update. Every 2 weeks (aprox.) I examine Windows Update and install them. And capable that some of them has affected something.

This happens to me with any of the install.bat, even of the previous versions that I knew how to use and the current version!

I do not know if I venture to eliminate those lines, to see if that way the script lets me continue with the process.

Notice that I have tried this with CT 5.9 installed. Since it has always been my custom, execute the bat of the version I want to install and from there make the "clear all" and then install.
I do not want to risk removing CT manually, fearing I could not run an installation again.

I do not know what to do...

Attached the result that throws me console in case it helps.

File Attachment:

File Name: errorCT.txt
File Size:2 KB

My specifications are:
* Windows 8.1 64 bits
* Intel Core i7
* 14 GB RAM

Any help is welcome.
Best regards,

Thanks Sternas Stefanos for answer so soon.

It's Windows 8 Single Language.

Last night, before going to bed, I was given to try a recommendation that was made in this thread .
Add that same folder to the variable PATH. And I tried the script.

And apparently it works. I say apparently because it takes me to the menu options of installation. But since it was already quite late I went to sleep.
I do not know if it is the final solution, I would be able to try the installation again this afternoon or the weekend according to my work schedule.

Any news I will be communicating.
I apologize in advance for starting a thread that could have been avoided and for having taken time away from the moderation team.

good afternoon,
I can confirm that it has been solved as commented in the thread I linked.

Adding the value C: \ WINDOWS \ SYSTEM32 to the PATH variable was sufficient.

I already have CT 6.30 installed and I can continue with my projects. From what I was reading in the history of changes the extension and/or format of some files has been changed and it is necessary to "convert" the old projects.
