First: A Great thank you for enabling targeting Windows 7 again in ver. 8.2 Lab.
Second: A question: When creating "new Form" then Form1.Left is always = 2178 initially, which is off the screen. I have to center the Form each time.
From where is the default Left := 2178 taken, so that I can set it to e.g. 50 for its initial value?

I'm on Win 10, only want to target Win7 besides of Win 10 / 11. So it is not OS-related.
But thanks to you, you gave the right clue for more testing:
Actually I have 2 Monitors, and it only happens, when Typhon is running on the right monitor.
When Typhon is running on the left Monitor, the initial Left of the Form is 373, which is proper.

So, somehow the horizontal pixels of both monitors get summed up in design view object inspector Form.Left property, but then shown relative to the left edge of the right monitor, which is then offscreen. Funny, but not a serious bug, maybe a quirk.
I checked my Monitor configuration, and it is a bit strange, but allowed:
[ 2 ] [ 1 ]

And [ 2 ] is the primary Display. When Typhon runs on [ 1 ], only then this strange Form offset occurs. I think the code assumes that [ 1 ] has the most left screen edge. Probably there is a way to inquire in code the actual Monitor topology in Windows, but I think that goes too far for that small purpose.

Re my test with Debian 12 on my LG UltraPC 16, Ryzen 7 using the GTK2 install. I had to use non-standard install techniques because the official installed failed, not recreating required directories and aborting. I first used the official install method, running as my user. When that failed I could only complete the install by manually creating the directories and running as root. Doing so allowed the install to complete. Issues may have been specific to my laptop because it is AMD based rather than Intel based. Don't know. I may try again using the August build. However, I have returned to using Windows (where, in my experience, problems like these don't happen).

Final 8.20 installed on both Windows 10 and Linux Mint 21.2 and so far no strange things have popped up when testing some existing projects.
Great job again!
