It is difficult, CT 4.90 has a lot of changes in the Components and IDE

Please turn off run-time protection
and test again Typhon IDE

Does Librairies d3d8.dll and d3dxof.dll may be the cause of the crash?

The crash is Windows Libraries problem
if Small IDE work OK, then
only DirectX libraries loaded from Big IDE
you must check your DirectX libraries
or
Build and Open Small IDE select Components not use DirectX and rebuild IDE

Sternas, it's a mass problem!
On my installation's trying on Windows 7 x64 - both succesfully compilied and linked BigIDE 4.90 (32/64) crashes with "Access violation",
On my ubuntu 12.04 32x BigIDE 4.90 crashes with "Access violation"

4.80 on this places was runned successfull.

>> NOTE1: CT now by default use precompiled QT4PAS libraries to build TyphonIDE for QT

missed libraries Qt4 or every?


I afraid, final testing must be on CLEAN installations of operating system, not with virtual machines and work environment.

CT 4.80 build Qt4Pas libraries when build Typhon IDE for QT
CT 4.90 use pre-build (codetyphon/allzips/binqt/) Qt4Pas libraries when build Typhon IDE for QT
and user has the ability to build Qt4Pas libraries from CTCenter

we use Real PC for final release tests Sir

I partially resolve problem with "access violation".
into file environmentoptions.xml in user's configuration directory (c:\users\username\Application Data\typhonXX\environmentoptions.xml for example), in section <EnvironmentOptions> before it's end I insert this string:
<Language ID="en"/>

after this, the IDE is running up without errors.
but, any other language will crush with "access violation"
maybe, used lazarus source with broken localization. :(

Change IDE Lang to "En" and try again (IDE Options->Desktop)
the problem is with language file in typhon/languages

try this file put it in typhon/languages
CT 4.9x it's the stable version so we must make it Stable...
