I am trying to place a TAggPaintBox on an empty form in a new project and receive the following errors:

Messages, Errors: 2
Error: Error creating component: TAggPaintBox
Access violation
Error: Error destroying component of type TAggPaintBox of unit :
Access violation

My Codetyphon is as far as I can tell running without problems, I am using this version for a year now (v5.9).
The system is running on Linux Mint 17.1

What can be the problem?
