Hi,

I'm having problems with CT 5.9 (but it's present since 4.6 or something around that). I'm on Ubuntu 16 now, but under 12 it worked the same.
Writing text in the code editor window is as expected, but writing something in any of the windows (options, find window etc.) gets every letter twice.
Eg. if I write 'text' in code editor then I'm getting 'text' as expected but outside code editor I'm getting 'tteexxtt' instead.

Can make a video if needed.
