As Ubuntu 12.04 is LTS, CT should also work on this version. Small IDE is OK, Big IDE will not start due to openGL-Error or missing libs (but they are installed!)

The integrated Update also will not work:

Kein TTY vorhanden und kein »askpass«-Programm angegeben

When starting update as sudoer, updates wil be shown, but the Start Update topic is greyed.

Update:

Started Update in extern Terminal - no newer files available.

So it's just the error when starting BigIDE as described above.

OK, I found it:

The problem is solved when I installed bumblebee-nvidia.
(I use a hybrid with intel and nvidia)
