Hi, I installed the 8.60 version on a dell M4800 with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on there was a previous version 8.50 installed.
I chose to option 8 remove and rebuild all.
Now launching the code Typhon64 studio get an access violation:

While with ctc Trying to download any cross tools chain i get "unable to create file <FileName> no such file or directory.

Help is needed to resolve, Thank you

Start Install.sh
if you select option:0
Install.sh will remove ALL codeTyphon staff from your PC and install new staffs

if you select option:2

I did it. Same result. My Os is Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with kernel 6.8.0-52-generic

we test CT ver 8.6 and LAB CT ver 8.7 on Ubuntu 24.10
without problems

Could depends on 3d acceleration lack? I have probelms with my amd gpu installation

Hi, I did create a new VM In Virtualbox with Ubuntu 24.10 and installed Codetyphon 8.60 from scratch. Now the starts, but when try to download the cross builds chain still get the error unable to create File <filename> no such file or directory. I am loosing something in the installation process?

Did you add your CT Install user to sudo List?
username   ALL=(ALL:ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL
 

if Yes then
I don't know Sir
 Ubuntu need a lot of memory and disk space for the same job, like CT build BigIDE.
We test Fedora 42 BETA and Ubuntu 25.04 BETA last days.

Why don't you test an other Linux Distribution ?

kubuntu, 
xubuntu,
etc

Yes my user is in sudoers group an there is enough space on the disk to complete the installation.
