During CT installation, are multi-core build capabilities enabled by parallel processes?

Yes
CT has Multi-Threading Build ability for TyphonIDE packages

-- CTCenter => Settings => Page "Building" => CheckBox <<Typhon IDE, NOT use Packages Group Build>>
-- TyphonIDE=IDE Options => General Extra => Use  Packages Group Compiler (Multithreading)

We disable this ability only on MacOS, Solaris and OpenBSD.
These OSes, give us problems with Multi-core or  Multi-Threading packages building...
