I installed CodeTyphon64 5.40 on two machines yesterday.

On both machines, I can use docking in Typhon64 V-IDE.

On both machines I can not use docking in Typhon32 V-IDE.

With CodeTyphon64 5.30, I was able to use docking in both Typhon32 and Typhon64.

Do I need to add something to the Typhon32 V-IDE to enable docking in version 5.40?

LDX or install gnome or kde you and what you are using

and reinstall CT

Also, I notice that CT32 V-IDE has only a few component tabs (Standard, Additional, Common Controls, Misc, Dialogs, system, BaseControls, Data Access, Data Controls).

CT64 V-IDE has approximately 124 component tabs (again, not components, but rather tabs containing components).

It appears that quite a lot did not build during the installation of CT32 V-IDE on both of these Windows 10 Pro 64 bit machines.

did you install System Libraries info ?

Please, run CTCenter as administrator, try to Build Typhon32 BigIDE and
post here (after zip) the building log info ?

Hello sternas,

Yes, I installed system libraries (and CT64 seems just fine).

I attempted to re-build CT32 BIG-IDE. It failed with an error message about being out of memory.

I do not understand this error, since I have 16GB of memory on this system, and again, CT64 BIG-IDE is acting normally.

The SSD also has 48GB free, and the system monitor did not indicate a low memory or disc space situation during the installation.

The install log is attached. The error is logged at line 24,467.

Hello sternas,

Running fpc.exe in Windows 8 compatibility mode solved the problem.

I am curious why this only affected the CT32 BIG-IDE. I know you're busy, but if there's a quick explanation, I'd be grateful to know.

We "explore" and this FreePascal problem on Windows 10,
Windows 10 OS has Limited Programming Documentation until now.
but "IS THE BEST OS" on this planet until now (our lab opinion)

I hope, we will find the solution before CT 5.5 stable release
