Well, the subject...
Here's my installation log file:

Here's my Simple CommandBox Test log file:

What else...
What I did first:
1. I ran install.bat from "C:\Documents and Settings\chaiman\Рабочий стол\CodeTyphonIns".
2. On a screen with 9 options I chose "Remove and Build ALL".
3. Installation failed.

Then I did this:
1. I ran install.bat from "C:\Documents and Settings\chaiman\Рабочий стол\CodeTyphonIns".
2. On a screen with 9 options I chose "9) EXIT".
3. I opened CT center (from "C:\codetyphon\binCenter\i386-win32-win32") and select "CodeTyphon->Remove and Build ALL (FPC LAz and COcean)" option.
4. Installation failed, but I had a complete log file.

So... what can I do besides "Remove and Build ALL"? (Believe me, I removed CT for good for several times)

PS: Sorry for Russian language in attachments. My WinXP is Russian from the very beginning so I can't change system language to make a report in English...

Your language is very understandable, so no worries on that score. The experience here is of the same end result - installation failure - in Windows7 ultimate, but compounded by not knowing (or, truthfully, needing to know) what is wrong and what errors in the install made it fail. Chasing and inventing patches without qualified interested help may sound like good fun to some but to anyone who is a beginner like me it is an almost complete waste of effort.

Just to aviod unicode or codepage problems with bat-files, I always use short simple path without spaces and only 7bit-characters like:
c:\inst\CodeTyphonIns
for installation, and that works very well in XP as well as Win7 and even Win8.

Please tell, if that approach solves the problem.

C:/WUBUNTU/system32/rm.exe

my suggestion is to rename that file
and then run CT build again

Unfortunately I can't check it for now. When next update would be available, then maybe. I just installed CT 4.2 in a VB with the same OS and then copied prebuilt binaries to the host.
Why CT uses system-wide rm.exe, if it has it's own? Why not use smth like ~dp%0 before executables?

Rain: The placement of CodeTyphonIns doesn't matter at all. I succesfully installed meny versions of CT from the desktop folder on many PCs.
