Old CT has stored Lazarus IDE configuration XML files inside of CT installation directory, so I could easily switch between CT versions by simple renaming of CT directories. Recent CT versions have changed this nice feature and they store Lazarus files on WinXP in "c:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\lazarus32". Now, if I want to rename current CT and use some previous CT version besides renaming directories I have to also rename lazarus32 directory the same way (otherwise CT reports missing components and other stuff). Is it possible to switch back to the old way of storing everything inside CT directory and make it default again in CT distribution? This would really help in maintaining different CT versions on the same PC.

Sir
1) we design CT for single version installation, CT it's a large DEV Studio.
2) we will test and your suggestion, but I think, current CT configuration is the best.

I have problems with CT 2.80 so I had to switch to CT 2.70. Otherwise I would not need to look back. There are also people who will have to do the same (at least temporary) if they find their old application or component has some problems with new CT version (for example new Indy or new FPC break old code compilation).
