Congratulations for your project

I have 2 questions:

First. I want to use more components than the installed in CT, for now MDO (Mercury Database Objects), my question is: Are there any problem to install more components in CT as it is posible in Lazarus? Do I install them using some kind of special method?

Second. First I made a search in forums threads, about installing CT in Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, but only found a post about installing CT in an Alfa version, my question is: Is possible install CT into this new Ubuntu version?

First. There're nothing special about installation new components for CT - it's as easy as install them on original Lazarus package from svn or sourceforge. However, there are several posts about impossibility of installation some packages on CT 2.6. One of them is mine. But you still need to try in order to learn whether MDO would or wouldn't get installed. You may try Ct 2.5 (as it have less troubles with that - at least I came to this conclusion reading this forum and considering my own experience). But again, even the prepared by CT crew package for apenal support (pl_glscene_openal) just refuses to get installed... Anyway - try it out

Second. You CAN install CT 2.6 under pangolin but read this first. I didn't try to install 2.5 on 12.04, but it seems that in even more earlier version docking wouldn't work fine (I'm sure I saw smth about testing state of docking in 2.5). Anyway CT 2.6 is waorking on my 12.04 fully but for that docking.

Guys, the CT 2.60 file at our download links, is new.
We solve installation components problem, repack and upload.
Just download and reinstall CT

and we working on GlassDocking now...
after Lazarus Rev 37273 fixes

1) You can install any compoments you want

2) Always, we Test CodeTyphon in all Ubuntu Versions from 10.04 to 12.04 LTS final.
Debian 32/64, Scientific 32/64, Ubuntu 32/64, and Chakra 32/64 are our "Must test" Linux distributions
before every CT release for "Generation II plan"

I downloaded CT and installed it on Precise Pangolin succesfully.

In the next days I'll test CT in my PC, and I'll try to add other components. I'll stay in touch.

Earlier there was a thread with news like reuploading the CT. I wish to have it back
Or even just a message with last upload date pinned above all threads (like it was about changing the server).
(Cause I'm sure to have downloaded CT after 12.04.12 which is the latest piece of the news )
