Hi

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
UAC turned off
Comodo Firewall , Defense off
Lazarus, 32 bit / 64 bit

1. Unable to debug the application. Every time a message appears:
"Project projekt1.exe raised exception class 'External: SIGSEGV'". What can you do with it? On many forums I saw that the topic was raised, but have not found a solution that allowed me to debug the application.

2.Is there a possibility to install on other drive than C:?

Hi there,

Is your Windows in English? If you bypass the SIGSEGV signal doesn't the debugger continue?

I have Win 7 x64 and in both Lazarus x86 AND Lazatus x64 i have to confirm 2 Debugger messages and continue
the debugging from the IDE (by pressing F9) in order to actually start to debug my application.

For the time being ONLY drive C: is available for installation under windows.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit polish

After pressing OK, I receive a dialog "Warning Debugger". Pressing Ok again I can debug the application. However, it is extremely burdensome. That is why I ask about a possible solution of the problem.

If I replace C: to, for example, D: in all the scripts I am not able, however, install the system in another location?

Comodo firewall does NOT fully disables Defence+. Even if the user has disabled it from within Comodo's settings AND the popup menu of Comodo tray icon.
In order to stop the Warning Messages for the debugger you must COMPLETELY uninstall comodo.

Changing the C: to D: in the installation scripts might or might not change the installation path of CT. But even if you manage to get it install correctly in another drive (like D: for example) it doesn't mean that all the Tools of CT Center will work as expected.
Give it a try and post the results :)

Do I have to completely uninstall COMODO, is it enough to kill him in the process? Maybe there is some other workaround? I have yet to use any firewall. And this is for my needs very good.

Therefore I will try to modify the scripts and install in another location. If it succeeds I will know.

Just killing the process will not prevent the Kernel Mode driver to stop functioning. You have to Completely remove the Comodo and Reboot your PC.

As far as i know, NO. There is no workaround. Like you, i also like the Comodo Antivirus but i also uninstalled my Comodo Internet Suit to be able to run my Lazarus debugger environment without annoying messages.

Ok! I am eager to see if it worked for you!

I need to update this thread because searching the Net i came across a possible solution for having BOTH Comodo and Lazarus running without the SIGSEGV errors of the debugger. Read the following link. I will test it also and post my review here:
