Hi,
on Ubuntu Karmic (386) I followed all the setup/installation instruction but I get this error message when I try to download ...
"lguzzon@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install libgdk-pixbuf-dev[sudo] password for lguzzon:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package libgdk-pixbuf-dev"

At this link [bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=521693] "they" say that Karmic does not use libgdk-pixbuf-dev package because is "buggy" !!!

So what's next ... ?

Luca Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 3 Thank you received: 0	Found a "tricky" solution: -Install Lazarus from the "Ubuntu Software Center" (it downloads all the right packages ...) -then use the normal setup procedure Bye Luca
