Hello Sternas,

I use Lazarus for years for Delphi altnernative because i dont want use illegal software.I also own Delphi 7 Personal,Delphi 2005 Personal and Delphi Explorer licenses and they are free but have limitations.
With CT Lazarus becomes more and more components and i love that but i confused with one of them..its the ORCA lib..its original name vas VG-SCENE at ksdev.com..after sold to Embarcadero, name canged to Firemonkey.
My question is : it is legal to use this library..i dont want break the law.

Thank you for CT Studio, thank you for your effort.

( Sorry for bad English)

Hello.
Im looking for tools for blind people.
ORCA : live.gnome.org/Orca can do that.
Is your ORCA component the solution ?
Does ORCA need LCL ? (i mean, is it possible to use ORCA in console app or using fpGUI ?

Many thanks.

Where can I find demos for ORCA?
I'm interested in loading different animated models with somewhat of GLScene easiness. Is that possible with ORCA?

Hello.

Is ORCA library code licensed as freeware? Like KGrid?

License:
This code is distributed as a freeware. You are free to use it as part
of your application for any purpose including freeware, commercial and
shareware applications. The origin of this source code must not be
misrepresented; you must not claim your authorship. You may modify this code
solely for your own purpose. Please feel free to contact the author if you
think your changes might be useful for other users. You may distribute only
the original package. The author accepts no liability for any damage
that may result from using this code.

Or LGPL with static linking exception, like LCL?
In source I can find only

ORCA 2D/3D Library
Copyright (C) PilotLogic Software House
www.pilotlogic.com

Package pl_ORCA.pkg
This unit is part of CodeTyphon Studio

At least I can figure out, that it is not Public Domain.

What is exact license for ORCA code (or CodeTyphon Studio mentioned in sources)?

Or it is complete freeware, like stated in CodeTyphon About

CodeTyphon is the FREE "Pascal Visual Programming Studio", ...
This Project is licensed as: Freeware. (and You can do what you want) :)

Sir
with any library of CodeTyphon and with CodeTyphon
you can build and commercial software without releasing the source code
This commercial software is your property.
We give you the tool of FREE.

CT is NOT commercial product, is our programming tool and
we offer you our programming tool FREE-AS-FREEDOM.

We DON'T make "tricks" with CT or CT-Libraries license.

Is so difficult to accept the totally FREE-AS-FREEDOM use of a programming tool?

a)-pl_ORCA and
b)-pl_ORCA3D

Now we try to code these 2 libraries for any CPU-OS-Platform
