Hi All,

I am happy to upgrade my system to CT 6.10 which solves many bugs. However I am working on 2 different OS (Win10 and unfortunately also Win XP in office). Before CT 6.10 it was easy to move the project files between the 2 machines. Now it is quite impossible to update the Win XP computer with files developed on CT 6.10 & Win 10. My question is: Is it possible to convert the ctpr, ppr files back to lpr, lpi...?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

No you can't convert new to old format files
CT works OK to WinXP
but you must build small Typhon IDE first

@patrick
check this
lazarus forum ct2laz

It seems that, as I read the thread, the ct2tlaz tool can convert to laz format, then to ct old format, with minimal effort

@Matis: Thank you for the information. However I'm not sure that small IDE in Win XP could be sufficient as my CT project needs components that would lack in small IDE.

@Gulyone: Thank you also. Ct2laz appears to be a nice tool. Maybe the solution should be using CT 6.1 in my Win 10 system and Lazarus 1.6 in my Win Xp laptop using ct2laz to convert the files between the 2 "worlds".

build Small IDE first and then
rebuild Typhon IDE with the packages you want info
It's very simple procedure
