Please read this forum topic

The problem is sudo root privileges

CTCenter (NOT Typhon IDE) must execute from a user with sudo root privileges

My suggestion :
download CT 6.15 zip file and make full CodeTyphon installation

I test CT 6.15 in one of our Debian (latest) 8 PCs, all are OK

Please, your Desktop ?

I've already reinstalled it twice (6.15). Error repeating.
I have now installed version 6.0. Everything is working. What's wrong with version 6.15?

1) you must have in your /etc/sudoers file
a last line
user ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL

2) open CTCenter with command
codetyphon

not
sudo codetyphon

attach file line 55
[WARNING]: CTCenter run for root or sudo user, this is NOT correct...?????
