Hi,

it seems CT is always on the bleeding edge of FPC development, i.e. you ship FPC trunk instead of the latest release. I'm a bit concerned of using a not so well tested compiler, to be honest.
E.g. in 5.5 there was a problem with out parameters leaking memory when a reference counted type was passed to a function. The current FPC in Lab 5.6 fixes this but I was surprised that you do not ship 3.0.0 FPC, but go ahead and ship the one from Trunk.

It would be cool if the FPC codebase could be chosen when building the IDE in CodeTyphon, so the latest officially tested release can be used instead.

Regards,
André

Thanks Sir
we will add your suggestion to our To-Do list

We don't think officially FPC release is more stable from CT FPC
and this is our problem ....

Please don't forget, CT FPC is FPC trunk (3.1.1) with a lot of modifications
