Installed CodeTyphon Lazarus and had not been able to install/run any other Lazarus installation successfully before. CodeTyphon works perfectly.

I am used to seeing a small compiler messages window that shows up below my Delphi 4 coding window and was wondering if there is such an animal in CodeTyphon Lazarus W7/32. It contained an explanation of the errors.

Thanks.

If it is what I think you are asking.
Try menu selection 'View/Messages'.

I was lost for a while looking for this.

For the message window, if you can't see it after applying Indie's tip, try this :
you can find settings in 2 xml files located (under windows OS) in C:\users\current_user\AppData\Roaming\lazarus :
environnmentoptions.xml and GlassDockingRuntime.xml ;
Edit the message window top if the value is out of your screen and you will retrieve it like I did !

Thanks!

Tried menu selection 'View/Messages'. Still no find.

Tried resetting environnmentoptions.xml and GlassDockingRuntime.xml. Were both out of my screen bottom range. I had to play with it a bit because it kept resetting the 'top' back to the original number. After closing the project and then closing Lazarus with the 'Quit Lazarus' button, it held ok. This needs to be reported. I'll try to find out how.

The message window is quite important.
