CT Revision 004970 /CT version 5.0 BETA 1 release.

I am still having problems read from or write to database strings (UTF-8).
So, when I read from or write to PostgreSQL (UTF-8) I need to use routines to convert strings as the same way I use to read from or write to MSSQL Server
(UTF-8/windows encode) without troubles.
Take a look on this.

Thanks in advance for this really great job...

Finally, it's not so simple to make a working "Embedded Form Designer" for all Host OSes ....

Hum, what do you mean with "Embedded Form Designer" ?
Does CT5 integrate other form designers than the one from LCL-Lazarus ?
Like fpGUI-UIdesigner or mse-form-designer ?

Thanks

We have a plan to update LCL fpGui Platform to new source from fpGui
We have test our pl_AGGPas pkg to all Host OSes (Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris etc)

But, we want to finish CT on MacOS task first..

Hum, do you talk about LCL-fpGUI widgetset or pure fpGUI widgetset.
(Because LCL-fpGUI widgetset is only alpha-not-totally-working => but pure fpGUI widgetset is working perfectly on Linux, freeBSD, Win, Android, Solaris and Mac).

But, we want to finish CT on MacOS task first..

That are excellent news :) => Many thanks.

Old LCL-fpGUI widgetset => new pure fpGUI widgetset
"Platforms" for CT

PS: One item on Generation V (CT 5.xx) Plan is
and a new pure OpenGL/OpenGL ES widgetset (Platform)

One Programming Group here working now on a new OpenGL Linux (Unix) Desktop (like Gnome, Unity, KDE etc)
yes pure Pascal and this API (if all are OK) is this new OpenGL/OpenGL ES CT widgetset.
