Do you use glscene4lazarus ( wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/GLScene#SVN ) or official version ( sourceforge.net/projects/glscene/develop )?

Why do you renamed the component to pl_glscene? Demos and "old" projects doesn't have it... so "porting" is needed and there isn't a transparent compatibility...

1) We use official GLScene version SVN 30-7-2009

2) <<Why do you renamed the component to pl_glscene?>>
-Because this is our GLScene version with multi-OS "vision"

3) <<Demos and "old" projects doesn't have it... so "porting" is needed>>
-Wrong Sir look at CodeTyphon\CodeOcean\GLScene folder
or Here for CodeOcean Part of CodeTyphon.

4) <<and there isn't a transparent compatibility... >>
-Help us to solve this problem...

Please don't forget that CodeTyphon is NOT "Product" is Freeware, we (PilotLogic Software House) share our programming tool and our CODE with others...

Please DO the same. ;). Have fun...

I think you are great to do all this work, really! For the first time Lazarus IDE seem to be a real professional tool. Very powerful.

About 1) Great! Official Code will have better FPC translations.
About 2) This is the problem that doesn't allow "transparent compatibility" of 3). I mean All my previous projects and demos found that use GLScene have a bad dependencies: they search for GLScene not for pl_glscene, so there is a little work to do when I need to compile it in "clear" lazarus+glscene.

However no problem, it is a your choice and I must respect it. I was simply curious.

About: "-Because this is our GLScene version with multi-OS "vision"" do you mean that it will compile for ARM cpu?

Thank you and congratulations.

PS can you tell me how to compile for arm-linux from Windows ? Thank you!

For exaple, when I load my latest project:

1) dependencies glscenelazarus (1.0.0.3) not found -> changed with pl_glscene
2) " Error: Identifier not found "TGLMaterialLibrary" " -> I added and removed a 2nd GLMaterialLibrary and now it works.

Regards :)
