File open dialog freeze was created by Peter Pohlmann
Hello Gurus !

I have installed CT on my mac mini capitan 10.11.6 CT just downloaded ..from the site.
Carbon .. installed fine with no problems , but only 32 IDE. As i read that is the only IDE supported for that
config.

THe IDE starts up fine and compiles ok too. Great job.
The only problem I have is that when i open a file dialog for example loading a project or even from the file menu
open will show the dialog box ok, but all will freeze up after 2 to 3 seconds.

Not sure what cases that. Any advise ?

Meanwhile i have installed QT4 and build with that.
In QT4 everything seems to be working ok so far

CT is the best what ever happened to the programming world. Thank you for the great work you guys did .
I appreciate your work very much.

Cheers
Peter

Thanks Sir
you have got the status of CT on MaocOS :)

-FPC 32 all OK
-FPC 64 all OK

Carbon: Typhon 32 bits only with the small problem on open project (we will fix this)
Cocoa: Build both IDEs for 32 bits and 64 bits but in this case Typhon IDE has many problems...

QT4 : Build only Typhon 64, and works OK
GTK2 :Build only Typhon 64, and works OK

We are trying hard for the best...

one more quick question ..
I have to add a component to the IDE and rebuild the IDE after.
How do i rebuild that IDE with the component. If i use the IDE rebuild from the menu // after the ide is rebuild it
does not start .
What is the proper way to add the component ? Is that possible via Codetyphon ?

Cheers
Peter
