Hello,
While testing CT6.2 on ChaletOS 16.04 I experienced these two bugs:

• Embedded designer bug: Default event won't be created after double clicking on an object (form, button)
• Letters and numbers are repeated twice in code section (but not on form's controls)

If there is any patch or workaround for the second bug ( I vainly, tested disabling repeat delay from OS keyboard settings)

I think ChaletOS based on Debian and Ubuntu.

1) Embedded designer: Use Object inspect to create event properties.
2) Old GTK2 API version, has this problem, we must fix this.

I have both GTK2 (Version: 2.24.30-1ubuntu1.16.04.2) and GTK3 (Version: 3.18.9-1ubuntu3.3) installed, is there a way to launch CT using GTK3?

GTK3 is not ready for full IDE yet...

My suggestion (if it's possible)
change Linux Distribution to latest Debian stable or latest Ubuntu
