I believe that is a good point if the new IDE be similar to Eclipse IDE or Microsoft Visual Studio IDE (KZDesktop).

Such a brave decision. Depending on how you do it, it may be very good, or very bad decision. There is very little room in between.
After this I wouldn't be surprised if soon after that you say something like '...and we will replace FPC with this: code.google.com/p/llvm-pascal'. :whistle:

To me the new IDE looks like a rebranded Lazarus, which is a good thing.
This way merging progress from lazarus-development-project into CT-project
may be as easy and fast to do for Pilotlogic as before.
And the "LazControls" did not become "TypControls", which is also a good thing.

Dual personality for us
is the ability to exists both 32 and 64bits IDEs in the same PC
In the picture Solaris64 is (like Windows64) Multi-Arch info .

Can Lazarus run on Solaris ?
